Did a bunch of new #Funko style drawings and they’re all up in my Etsy!
Diving back into the vast collection of Marvel Comics Monsters, this is the Demon Bear, a giant supernatural beast that was most often found terrorizing Dani Moonstar and her fellow New Mutants.
This is Braga - an ancient alien-fighting kaiju, and the titular character from a web-comic named Bruiser Braga. While what there was of the comic was pretty awesome, it hasn’t updated in ages, so I’d unfortunately mostly forgotten about it…
But luckily I had added it to my RSS reader, and the site just completely reset a few days ago (which pinged the RSS). So I’m hoping it’s a sign that the creator might be planning to relaunch the comic. <fingers crossed>
Validus is a bit on the smaller side of the Kaiju scale. But he is giant-sized (and a giant-sized threat to the Legion of Superheroes), and has been known to rampage.
Good enough for me!
KaiJuly lumbers on!
You all remember that time that Dr. 13 and his compatriots were menaced by a walking version of Mount Rushmore, right? Right?
Oh yeah, that probably didn’t happen in the New 52 DC universe - wiped from continuity and existence. Which, if you have read the series, you’d know is somewhat appropriate….
Megalon trying to eat his birthday cake, but can’t because his hands are drills. A tale as old as time.
Oh yeah, he can also shoot lightning bolts out of his horn. Awesome.
Hey, look who’s on page 44 of the Sakai Project! Go buy a copy to support Stan Sakai and his family!
"You don’t see that often in nature."
#kaijuly 16 - Barugon! Not to be confused with Baragon. Couldn’t resist drawing the MST3K gang on this one. It’s a really funny episode.
#kaijuly 15 - Baragon. Don’t really know this guy’s deal. He’s weird-looking, but that’s not saying much with kaiju.
